By accessing or using SuppaLog (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and Medical Disclaimer. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use SuppaLog.

2. Medical Disclaimer

• Do not use SuppaLog for medical emergencies
• Always consult qualified healthcare professionals
• AI insights are informational only, not medical advice
• Stack safety scores are estimates, not medical assessments
• We are not liable for health decisions made based on app data

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Provide accurate information
• Keep your account credentials secure
• Enable biometric authentication responsibly (if used)
• Use the service in compliance with applicable laws
• Not share harmful or misleading health information
• Not attempt to circumvent security measures
• Not scrape, reverse engineer, or misuse our service
• Not use the service for harmful or illegal purposes

4. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

Passwords

• Choose a strong, unique password
• Do not share your credentials

Biometric Authentication (Optional)

• Face ID/Touch ID uses your device's secure enclave
• We do not store biometric data
• You can enable/disable this feature in Settings

If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password immediately and contact us.

5. Subscription and Payments

Free Tier

• Basic supplement tracking
• Daily intake logging
• Basic analytics
• Limited stack features

Premium Subscription

• AI-powered supplement insights
• Stack safety analysis
• Advanced analytics
• Unlimited AI conversations
• Priority support

Payment Processing

• Subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android)
• Payments are handled by Apple/Google, not SuppaLog directly
• Prices are displayed in your local currency

Auto-Renewal

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• Cancel anytime through your App Store or Google Play account settings

Refunds

• Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their refund policies
• We cannot process refunds directly

6. Stack Sharing & Social Features

SuppaLog allows you to create and share supplement stacks:

Public Stacks

• Stacks you make public are visible to all users
• You retain ownership of your stack content
• You grant SuppaLog a license to display and distribute public stacks

User Content Guidelines

• Do not share misleading health claims
• Do not include personal medical information
• Do not promote dangerous supplement combinations
• Respect intellectual property rights

We may remove content that violates these guidelines or is reported by users.

7. Intellectual Property

SuppaLog Content

All content, features, and functionality of SuppaLog (including AI models, design, and code) are owned by SuppaLog and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content

• You retain ownership of your personal data and supplement logs
• You grant us a license to use your public stacks to provide the service
• You can export or delete your data at any time

8. AI Features & Limitations

SuppaLog uses AI for:

• Supplement identification from images (Google Gemini)
• Stack safety analysis (Anthropic Claude)
• Chat assistance and personalized insights (Anthropic Claude)

AI Limitations

• AI responses are informational, not medical advice
• AI may occasionally provide inaccurate information
• Safety scores are estimates based on general knowledge
• Always verify AI suggestions with healthcare professionals

By using AI features, you acknowledge these limitations.

9. Limitation of Liability

SuppaLog is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We are NOT liable for:

• Health decisions, outcomes, or adverse reactions
• Accuracy of AI-generated content
• Data loss or service interruptions
• Third-party service failures (Apple, Google, etc.)
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Supplement interactions not detected by our system

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SuppaLog, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you share through the service

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for:

• Violations of these Terms
• Sharing harmful or misleading content
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Extended periods of inactivity (with notice)

You may delete your account at any time through Settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

For EU/UK users, you retain any mandatory consumer protection rights under your local laws.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For significant changes, we will:

• Notify you via email or in-app notification
• Provide at least 30 days notice before changes take effect

Continued use of SuppaLog after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you disagree with changes, you may delete your account.
